Bereits die Bücher aus meinem letzten Kurzmeinungenbeitrag habe ich in meinem Zwangsurlaub gelesen, hier kommen die nächsten fünf. Jap, ich habe in diesen zwei Wochen rund 10 Bücher gelesen, aber was soll man auch sonst machen? Zu keinem habe ich das Bedürfnis eine ausführliche Rezension zu schreiben, daher kommt hier meine Kurzmeinung.
The Eye of Minds

Mein Senf dazu
Ich liebe ja The Maze Runner von den Autor, so war ich sehr gespannt auf diese Reihe von ihm. Zuerst konnte mich das Buch nicht so packen, da es doch eher für jüngere Leser geschrieben wurde, aber dann ab der Hälfte wurde es viel besser und sehr viel spannender. Am Ende war es ein richtige Pageturner und alles was man zu wissen glaubte wurde auf den Kopf gestellt. Ich habe richtig mit Michael mitgefiebert. Hätte es einen besseren Start gehabt, würde das Buch sicher ein Highlight von mir sein, so leider nicht.

Mein Senf dazu
Bei diesem Buch tu ich mir mit einer Bewertung echt schwer. Am Anfang versteht man nichts, da es keine Erklärungen gibt. Man reimt sich erst alles mit der Zeit zusammen, aber genauere Erklärungen gibt es nicht. Es passiert auch nicht wirklich viel, trotzdem konnte ich nicht aufhören zu lesen. Ich weiß echt nicht, woran das liegt. Das Ende war dann gut, aber es gab keinen richtigen Wow-Moment im gesamten Buch. Irgendwie würd ichs jedem empfehlen, irgendwie auch nicht. Das Buch lässt mich sehr gespalten zurück.

Mein Senf dazu
Ich habe bereit in The Wicked Deep den Schreibstil der Autorin geliebt und das hat sich hier auch nciht geändert. Sie schreibt anders, poetisch und ich konnte mich nicht von dem Buch losreißen. Zuerst passiert leider ein bisschen wenig, aber der Hälfte gehts aber los und das Ende hat mich dann richtig geflasht! Wow, mit diesem Ende hätte ich nie gerechnet. Natürlich dachte ich mir schon ein bisschen was, aber der Twist kam dann doch sehr überraschend. Das Buch kommt nicht ans erste Buch der Autorin heran, ist aber trotzdem lesenswert.

Mein Senf dazu
Endlich habe ich auch den zweiten Teil der Reihe gelesen. Band eins war schon klasse und dieser steht dem ersten in nichts nach. Alosa segelt immer noch viel, lernt ihre Kräfte zu kontrollieren und erfährt endlich die Wahrheit über ihren Vater. Was ich hier toll finde ist, dass es keine aufdringliche Liebesgeschichte gibt, sondern diese eher im Hintergrund passiert. Es geht hier wirklich um Alosa, ihre Crew und den Schatz auf der Isla de Canta. Es war von vorne bis hinten spannend und ich hätte am liebsten noch ewig weiter gelesen.

Mein Senf dazu
Ich habe mir das Buch damals, 2017, in Amerika gekauft und bis jetzt nicht gelesen. Shame on me. Jetzt aber hatte ich Lust drauf und ich habe jede Seite eingesogen und war begeistert. Es war nicht alles perfekt und ein paar Dinge hätte man nicht so ausführlich beschreiben müssen, aber insgesamt war es sehr spannend. Wie die Welt sich verändert, wie alle in einem Wolkenkratzer leben und wie es auch dort verschiedene Schichten gibt, das alles fand ich sehr gut aufgebaut und auch gut ausgearbeitet. Ich bin jetzt total gehyped auf die nächsten Bände, die habe ich aber leider noch nicht daheim.

Liebe Jessi,
ich habe die „Beautiful Liars“ Reihe von McGee unfassbar geliebt und kann dir da zustimmen. Ich habe die Seiten verschlungen. Die anderen Bücher habe ich noch nicht gelesen, aber vor allem „Winterwood“ klingt sehr, sehr spannend und werde ich mir gleich genauer ansehen.

Ich hab die nächsten Teile der Beautiful Liars Reihe leider noch nicht, aber ich freue mich schon sehr darauf sie zu lesen!
Winterwood war echt cool, von der Autorin kann ich The Wicked Deep auch nur empfehlen, das hat mich umgehauen.
